Let’s All Follow The Yellow Brick Down Road For The New Wave Of The Wizard Of Oz Funko POP!
This has been a long time coming, but Funko is FINALLY releasing a brand new wave of The Wizard of Oz POP! The first wave, consisting of Dorothy, the Wicked Witch, and a Winged Monkey, was originally released in 2011….yet, that’s right 13 years ago! A second wave was released a few years later with Dorothy’s companions and Glinda, and all 7 of these POP! (and their variants) are considered to be grails by many collectors.
Over the past few years, Funko has given us some bits & pieces of items, including a pair of Vynl 2-packs, a POP! Movie Poster, the special edition Toto POP!, and the recent Dorothy Rewind figure, but they have now fully wave of new POP!
