Welcome to the end of a busy week, and to our recap of all the little tidbits of news that we share over at our Instagram & Facebook pages!
First up this week was the Funko Shop release of Bedtime Freddy & Proto. This was only available in a mystery box, which will also include 5 mystery exclusive POP!
On Tuesday, a second Funko Shop Exclusive was released, this time it was a flying Captain Planet. This one is part of the POPs! with Purpose line, and $10 of every sale goes to RIVET, supporting young innovators leading projects in environmental sustainability.
Mondo, who was purchased by Funko in 2022, opened up pre-orders on their 1/6 scale Man-Bat from Batman: The Animated Series.
Funko announced that they will be headed to the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) in April. This marks the first time that Funko will have a major presence at the annual convention.
The end of November means that a new Marvel Collector Corps is up for grabs. For the next 2 months, subscriptions are open for the Amazon Exclusive bi-monthly box, with the January theme being Spider-Man: Blue, based off the 2002 comic.
An imaged leaked out of an upcoming GameStop Exclusive POP! & Tee set. This one will include Kang from Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania. This version of Kane will have his helmet & mask on, and will Glow in the Dark. We will post a link as soon as it is available!
Wednesday marked the 3rd day in a row that a brand new Funko Shop Exclusive was released. This time around it was the Oompa Loompa from the upcoming Wonka movie.
Chalice Collectibles released their Flocked version of Umbreon! This is due to start shipping in March.
Back in August, Funko announced a line of POP! based on The Seven Deadly Sins. The Diamond Collection Ban was originally slated to be a Funko Shop Exclusive, however it looks like it is now a Previews Exclusive. This is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
This week saw the official reveal of 2024 Valentine’s Day POP!, however Box Lunch showed us that there are more The Nightmare Before Christmas POP! on the way!
Also, while the new wave of Easter POP! was announced, we also saw a glimpse of some upcoming Pocket POP! in eggs!
And finally this week, the Funko Shop was updated on Friday with 2 new exclusives from Loki Season 2, Deluxe God Loki POP!, and Loki & Mobius (1893) POP!
