Growing up in the 80’s I definitely have a soft spot for iconic 80’s nerd gear. I am currently obsessing over these adorable Loungefly Pinky and Inky change purses. Pinky and Inky are two of the four Pac-Man ghosts from original Pac-Man game that came out in 1980. Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde are the names of all four.
Interesting fact: Did you know that Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde are not their actual names, but their nicknames! Inky’s real name is Bashful, Pinky’s real name is Speedy, Blinky’s real name is Shadow, and Clyde’s real name is Pokey. Obviously the real names are the characteristics of each of the ghosts during game play.
